Landscaping Services

Working with Teens On Call, Maui's teens learn all aspects of landscaping services from working with heavy equipment and installing irrigation to simple weeding, mowing, and weed-wacking. TOC teens learn to work as a team on jobs such as clearing land for realtors prior to sale, clearing along roadways, cleaning up overgrown yards, cleaning storefronts and along curbs in towns, tree trimming, even using green waste and fish parts to make compost.

The teens learn how to take care of the tools, load the truck, take the green waste to the green waste dump at the landfill, and clean and put away the tools. Caring for land can be very rewarding and develop a sense of aesthetics and responsibility in young people.
